… and thats a wrap.

Here are the last pix from our 1 month shoot of Quinci Kate. It was so much fun. Miss Q is the perfect little model. Now, if I could just go back in time and do some of this fun stuff to my kids when they were babies… Well, I am grateful that I have started with them now. Better late then never.

Quinci’s 1 month

Here is another taste of our shoot. More to come next week. Melis has been trying to hack into my smugmug site all day to see these, so with no further adieu…

I can’t believe it’s been 4 weeks! This little girl is an angel. She is a total PRO at the baby back bend. This is my very most favorite stretch of all time, arch the back and stick out that tiny bum, you go girl.

And the winners are!

1st off, thank you all for entering my first giveaway. I really appreciate all your love and support. It was fun to hear all your comments. This was just too fun, so I’ll be doing another giveaway soon!

And the winners are….

The Trost Family who said “I was linked on from Amanda’s blog. I love these shots. There is nothing like the love of a child and parent and these portraits capture that moment so well!” Congrats! Can’t wait to meet you guys!

and….. The Joseph Family who I just happened to go to High School with. She said “You know, I would love this! I love all the pictures of your sweet kids. I decided today while watching Monsters, Inc. the Breckyn looks like Boo. Too cute! And yeah, I’l try to figure out how to post the button on my blog…not that tech savvy! Thanks Steph!” Congrats Erin, can’t wait to meet your family.

Please contact me to redeem your G.C. and schedule your session.

Here is a sneak peak of today’s shoot. I’m sure Melis has checked my blog every 10 minutes since I left her house. Here is sweet little Quinci. Well, my favorite part of her anyway. What can I say. I have a foot fetish.

Giveaway

I still feel in a giving mood after the holidays… hmmm what to do, what to do. Perhaps a giveaway for $100 G.C. to Auburn Soul Photography? Ya, that sounds pretty good. Ok, now how do you win? Just 2 little things…

Fort Worth

Fort Worth was everything I ever could have imagined it to be and better. It’s like going back in time. I just love old stuff, so this was a perfect place to sit back and take it all in. Oh, and lets not forget the photo ops, to many, way to many. I’ll be posting more. Just wait.

Love those lips…. those LEGS!

Happy New Year!

We were driving along on New Years day when I saw this. I just had to jump out for some shots. It looks like a big can of soup, and I hope it’s not something for the sewer. What ever it is I love it.
I have such a hard time acting serious for pic’s. So here is me trying my hardest not to smile. Don’t laugh.
My sweet hubby snapped the shots (with just a little coaching). Not many people know, but he is quite the artist. Thanks babe! Here’s to a wonderful and exciting 2009!

One foggy day…

I know what your thinking. Do my kids have any other clothes? Well, yes and no. I wanted to do a session in there Christmas clothes from PAPA an Nana, and they just happen to wear those outfits a few times this month for all of the festivities. Locke had his Christmas Program at school and I saw this little bridge on the way home, couldn’t just drive by, you know how it is.
The ones of Bryn are in the parking lot at school while we were waiting for the program to begin.

Urban Christams

I was driving down the road, pull up to an intersection and there it was. This huge green metal wall. I’m not sure what it was exactly, but it was screaming out to me. I backed up (pretty sure that is illegal) and pulled into a field, grabbed the kids, ran past the big diggers, and started snapping away (hoping not to get caught and kicked off the construction site)

Quinci Kate

A miracle is a visible interruption of the laws of nature, such that can only be explained by divine intervention. This was my privilege, to witness a miracle today and help welcome this sweet girl into the world.

Elmer Family

Look at that beautiful Texas sky, it’s true what they say, it’s bigger in Texas. I was so excited to try out my new lens. Thanks Dan. I’m in love with it. And thanks Elmers for being the first in line to try it out.

The Elmers…. where do I begin. We met about 3 years ago, soon after we moved to Texas. Talk about a down to earth family. Oh, and Molly has the sweetest hint of a Southern accent. Love it. She is pretty much the poshest, most put together gal I know. Love you guys.
